Built inside a $5,000 coaching program. Clients have gone on to work with Meta, LeBron and Jordan, and to attach the executive producers of Lord of the Rings to their film.

What this is a piece of

The real work is two and a half hours, and then twelve weeks.

What I actually do is sit with someone for two and a half hours until they can say the thing out loud, usually for the first time in their adult life. Then twelve weeks of structure and follow through until it exists in the world with their name on it. That is Moonshot Mapping and Project 4%, and it runs from two thousand dollars to fifteen.

This page is week one of that, sold on its own for $29. The same board, the same calendar, the same walkthroughs that everyone in the container builds in their first week. You get the build without the room.

I sell it separately for one reason. You should not have to take my word for whether my thinking is worth anything. Spend twenty nine dollars and forty five minutes, run it for a fortnight, and you will know. If it turns out you want the room as well, that door is open, and by then you will not be guessing.

Nothing on this page is a step you have to take twice. The board you build tonight is the board you bring to the session.

Your list lives in four places

You are working constantly and the important thing still has not moved. The list lives in four places. Some in your notes app, some in a doc, some on a napkin, most of it in your head at 3am.

And it is costing you more than time. Every unfinished thing is a small open tab in your attention. You are running forty of them at once and wondering why you feel tired at 10am.

It is costing you money, energy and peace. The project that would actually change your income stays half started. Rest does not work when you spend it thinking about what you are not doing. So the work does not get done and the break does not work either.

And if nothing changes, next month looks exactly like this month. The same open loops, the same tabs, the same project you keep almost starting. Not because you are lazy, and not because you need to try harder. Because nothing in your system has ever told you what to ignore.

Shift one

The problem was never that you are disorganised

An idea you have not made a decision about stays open in your mind and quietly eats attention. Psychologists call it the Zeigarnik effect: the mind holds onto anything unresolved.

So the fix is not finishing more. It is resolving more. An idea you deliberately park is closed. An idea sitting in a vague someday list is still running in the background, still costing you.

Shift two

You have been managing time. Your body manages energy.

It cycles roughly every 90 to 120 minutes between sharp and flat, and no calendar app has ever asked about that.

Build the week around the cycle and deep work has recovery built into it. Build it against the cycle and you get the loop you are already in: sprint, crash, guilt, sprint.

A real week in the Flow Calendar, deep work blocked against energy

A frame from the Stage 3 walkthrough. The walkthrough itself comes with the templates.

A real week in the Flow Calendar, colour blocked by energy

A real week. Blue is deep work, red is the recovery and admin that protects it. Not a mockup, this is the calendar in the video.

It is not that you failed at the other systems

It is that almost every one of them is missing the same piece.

The notes appCaptures everything and decides nothing.
The to-do appA list so long it becomes wallpaper.
The project toolBuilt for teams shipping software, not one person with an idea.
The productivity courseA method you now maintain on top of the actual work.
Time blockingAssumed every hour of you is the same hour.
The backlogBecame a graveyard. Things go in, nothing gets decided.

Two ways to do this

The old way

  • Another app to learn
  • Cram more into the same hours
  • Maintain the system daily
  • Collect tools instead of shipping
  • The system becomes another open loop
  • Rest feels like cheating

The Backbone

  • Templates you copy in one click
  • Work with your energy, not against it
  • Ten minutes of upkeep a week
  • Decide once, then execute
  • The system closes loops instead of adding them
  • Rest is scheduled, so it counts

Where this came from

I was the guy with nineteen tabs open and nothing shipped

Devon Seegers

I had every tool. What I did not have was anything telling me what to ignore.

You would not walk into a hardware store and say "I love tools." Someone asks if they can help and you say "no, I just love tools." We see the absurdity in that, but it is essentially the self help trap.

The turn was not another app. It was realising that an idea I had not decided about was still costing me attention, and that parking it on purpose gave the attention back. I have run this with coaching clients since, and it is the week one build inside my twelve week program.

Not ready to buy anything? Use my interval timer free. It is the ten minute protocol this whole system sits on.

Three things you are probably thinking

"I have tried every system and none of them stick."

  • Most die because nothing tells you what to ignore. This starts there.
  • You build it once in 45 minutes. You do not maintain it daily.
  • The only upkeep is a ten minute weekly review, and the SOP is included.

"I am not an organised person."

  • The brain dump has no rules. There is no way to do it wrong.
  • The board is already built. You fill it, you do not design it.
  • The calendar arrives populated. You move blocks, you do not architect a week.

"I do not have 45 minutes."

  • That is the symptom this treats, not a reason to skip it.
  • The average knowledge worker loses about two and a half hours a day to distraction, and it takes about 23 minutes to recover focus after one interruption.
  • Twenty of the forty five minutes is just writing down what is already in your head.

Why this one sticks

The secret is in the Not Now column

Every board has a backlog. A backlog is where things go to be un-decided, which is exactly why your mind keeps holding them.

The Not Now column is different, because putting something there is a decision. You are not saying never. You are saying not this week, on purpose, and I know where it lives. The loop closes. The attention comes back.

Everything else in this system is well known. This is the piece almost nobody does, and it is the piece that makes the rest of it hold.

What you get

Three systems, and the clarity is the point

Why a system at all. The thinking behind all three stages.

★★★★★ Built inside a $5,000 coaching program

What clarity actually feels like

Not someone with a tidier list. Someone whose head is quiet enough to see the one thing that matters, and whose week is built so that thing actually gets done.

Picture thirty days from now

You open one board. You already know what today is. The forty other things are not gone, they are parked, and you know exactly where. You do your deep work in the window where you are actually sharp, and then you close the laptop without the low hum of guilt, because the rest is handled and rest is part of the plan.

Outcome

A quiet head

Every open loop is either scheduled or deliberately parked. Nothing is floating.

Outcome

A week that fits

Deep work sits where you are sharp. Admin sits where you are flat.

Outcome

Rest without guilt

The break is in the plan, so taking it is doing the work, not avoiding it.

What people say

From the coaching program this system was built inside. Real names, real results.

“The results have been astronomical.”
"I went from nothing to everybody wanting a piece of me, sought out by every major brand, from Meta to LeBron to Jordan. Unrecognizable."

Peter Maestrey · filmmaker

“We got the executive producers of Lord of the Rings attached.”
"We focused on just that 4% thing we could control, and on and on down the chain until we eventually got them attached to the project."

Toren Burgos · film producer

“Stuff I'd been sitting on for years is finally clicking into place.”
"A supercharged week. I applied for the gig, finally filed the visa application I'd been avoiding, got offered a faculty position."

Ayden Graham · musician

“I finally closed my gallery so I could paint again.”
"Thank you for helping me put my juggling balls down and quit the circus. After three years."

Noosh Andreeva · artist

“It's not the worst year of my life, because I'm coming back to myself.”
"I'm going through a divorce, and yet, I'm coming back to myself. And that includes my creativity."

Janeen Ritson · creative facilitator

“I didn't realize the power I can feel in resting.”
"Before this, rest felt like something I had to earn. Now it's part of how the work actually gets done."

The 30 day guarantee

Build the board. If it does not hold your work, email me inside 30 days and I will refund you in full. You keep the templates and every bonus either way. I would rather you have a working system and your money back than neither.

The only real risk is staying where you are.

Where this goes, if you want to know

This is stage one of three.

Buy the templates, run them, and for a lot of people that is the whole story. The head is empty, the week has a shape, and nothing else is needed. If that is you, take it and go.

Two other things tend to happen instead, and it is worth knowing they exist before you meet them.

The board fills up and you still cannot pick. Everything on it looks important. That is not a prioritisation problem and no board will fix it, because no system can rank your work against a destination you have never named out loud. Naming it is two and a half hours of work, live, and it is the one stage that is genuinely hard to do alone. That is Moonshot Mapping, and the first fifteen minutes of it cost nothing.

Or you can already name it, and you keep not doing it. The board is right, the block is in the calendar, the block gets eaten anyway. Clarity was never the missing piece. That is Project 4%, twelve weeks and a room, and it opens with the same mapping session.

No pitch attached to either. You do not need to decide anything today, and the twenty nine dollar version is the honest place to start.

Momentum Loves Speed, Start While You’re Fired Up

The cost of leaving it another month

Nothing bad happens if you close this tab. That is the actual problem. Another month goes by, the same forty things stay half open, and the project you keep almost starting stays almost started.

Forty five minutes, once.

Questions

Will this work for me if I have abandoned every system before?

That is the most common starting point. Those systems die because nothing in them tells you what to ignore, so the list grows until you stop looking. The Not Now column and the ten minute weekly review are the two things that prevent that, and both are included.

How long does setup actually take?

About 45 minutes end to end. Fifteen to twenty of that is the brain dump, which is just writing down what is already in your head.

What tools do I need?

The mind map and board run in Notion, which is free. The calendar is a Google Calendar subscription. The Weekly Review opens as your own Google Doc. Nothing here has a subscription cost.

Will this work if my work is creative rather than task based?

That is who it was built for. It came out of coaching creators and musicians, not project managers. The board is designed around ideas and projects, not tickets.

Is this a course?

No. It is three templates and three short videos showing you how to run them. You will have a working system tonight, not a curriculum to get through.

What happens right after I buy?

Instant access to everything. Duplicate the templates, subscribe the calendar, and follow the walkthroughs in order.

The short version

  • Three templates: mind map, board, calendar. Copy them in one click.
  • Three short walkthroughs, one per stage.
  • Four bonuses including the Weekly Review and the 30 minute reset.
  • Set it up once in 45 minutes, run it on ten minutes a week.
  • $509 of value for $29, and a 30 day guarantee where you keep everything either way.
